Why is it so difficult to eat a good diet?
It is curious that overweight wild animals are a rarity but 62% of citizens in the UK are overweight.
Which puts them at hugely increased risk of a whole range of diseases including heart attack, stroke, diabetes, cancer and dementia!
Our bodies, like all other mammals, have complex systems that should ensure that we eat a diet that keeps us in good health. Unfortunately, the way we choose to live often overrides these systems and we eat the wrong foods, too much food and take less exercise than we are designed for.
